Robert (Bob) McIntyre, 63, of Luxemburg passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Aurora BayCare Medical Center following a short battle with cancer. He was born on July 7, 1950 in Cadillac, MI, to Evart and Luella (Haysmer) McIntyre. On June 29, 1985, he married Janet Ullmann at St. John's Lutheran Church in Luxemburg. Bob enjoyed singing karaoke, and was a drummer in the band that opened for Hermans Hermits. He also enjoyed golf, family baseball games, and working at Burdick's Bar. Bob was employed at Emerson Motor Company in Surgeon Bay for 25 years until the plant closed. After receiving a degree in management from NWTC , Bob was employed at Wisconsin Converting until his illness.
Bob is survived by his wife Janet; his parents Evart and Luella McIntyre, Michigan; two brothers Steve and Ed, Michigan; and twin son and daughter Robert and Lisa. He is further survived by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Rodney (Mary)Ullmann, Lou Ann (Terry) Rowan, Sherry (Russ) Veeser, Clyde(Jeri) Ullmann, Roy (Missy) Ullmann, Lorie (Jerome) Treml, and Lee Ullmann; god-children Zach and Hayley; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son Jamie; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law LeeRoy and Mary Ullmann.
Visitation will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, Luxemburg, on Thursday June 12, 2014 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 7:30 p.m. with Pastor Carl Brewer officiating. Wiesner & Massart Funeral Home, Casco, is assisting the family. Online condolences may be shared here.
