Obituary

Francis R. Theis, 60, Casco, passed away on January 23, 2022. He was born on April 12, 1961, to the late Robert and Valarie (Fett) Theis. On July 8, 1989, he married Nancy Cravillion at St. Peter’s in Lincoln. Francis was a machine operator for D&S Machines in Luxemburg. In his spare time, he enjoyed cutting firewood, spending time with the kids and grandkids, and working with animals.

Francis is survived by his wife, Nancy; children, Tiffany (Trevor) Rass, Andrew Theis, Brooke (Colton Simon) Theis; grandchildren, Kinsley Rass, Anya Theis, and Waylon Simon; brothers and sisters, Chris (Amber) Theis, Robert Theis, Judy (Larry) Wohlwend, Mary Medvedeva, Betsy (Kurt) Muchoff; mother-in-law, Marie Cravillion; brother- and sister- in-law, Robert Cravillion, Sarah (Trevor) Kinnard; as well as by nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Valarie Theis; sister Marion; father-in-law, Richard Cravillion; and one nephew.

Visitation will be held at Kinnard Funeral and Cremation Service, Casco (formally Wiesner & Massart Funeral Home) on Sunday, January 30, 2022, from 1 to 4 p.m. Closing prayer service will take place at 3:45. Online condolence messages may be shared at www.KinnardFCS.com.
