Michael C. Trafka, 76, Pembine, WI, passed away on December 7, 2020 at the Bornemann Senior Communities in Green Bay. He was born on December 18, 1943 to the late Clarence and Helen (Hammer) Trafka. He worked throughout his life for Green Giant and as a maintenance man and was a member of the DC1-Local 77-P Teamsters Union.
Mike will be most remembered for his quirky humor and amazing kindness. He was a happy and good man that would help anyone, in any way, at the drop of a hat. His mechanical intelligence and creative engineering skills were amazing. He most loved his time spent caring for his acres of pristine country property and caring for the deer and outdoor wildlife. He entertained us with his proud recap of his life and fun dancing moments over the past couple years. A special thank you to his sister Mary, his home caregivers, and the staff of Bornemann who showed such love and care and enriched his life greatly for the past five years.
Michael is survived by his nieces and nephews, Kendall Ruehl, Laura Ruehl, Craig Allen, Doug & Tracy Allen, and Tracee Allen; sisters, Mary Lehr and Kristine Allen; great-nephews, Jeffrey Douglas Allen and Brandon Ruehl. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Helen Trafka; sister Linda Trafka; grandma and grandpa Trafka; and grandma and grandpa Hammer.
